Community Radio Stations in the North East The community radio stations in the North East of England have joined together to form a group to develop and foster a relationship between the individual organizations. The group is called CRaNE (Community Radio Stations in the North East). CRaNE members for mutual benefit through regular constructive communication and the exchange of information and experiences.
Latest News - Free Radio Training Course
We are planning 2 three week training courses the Introduction of Studio and Sound Recording (using the studio desk and editing) for September 2010. We appreciate that our members and others interested in joining Radio Teesdale have differing availability times due to their family and work commitments.
We are therefore, planning on running two courses in parallel. One course will be in the daytime and the other in the evening. The Daytime course will be on a Tuesday Morning on the 14th, 21st and 28th of September from 10am to 12 noon.
The Evening course will be on the Wednesday Evening on the 15th, 22nd and 29th of September from 6pm to 8pm. You are advised to let us know as soon as you can if would like to attend either of these sessions as places will fill up fast. The last course was oversubscribed!
Dog of the Month with the Dogs Trust The Dog of the Month from the Darlington Dogs Trust for August is Alfie. Alfie is looking for a new home. He is a black terrier of about 5 years old. If you are interested in Alfie or the work of the Dogs Trust then we have more details here.
Fundraising Radiothon 2010 We will be undertaking our second 24 Hour Live Radiothon. It's 24 live hours around the clock, 24 different presenters, 24 community guests and 24 sponsors. The 2010 Radiothon will run from noon on Friday the 1st October to noon on Saturday the 2nd October.
